If you are looking to buy an mp3 player, this is the one. This really is a great product. i myself have one with no complaints. The sound is incredible, the picture is great and there are none of the hassels of an ipod (download programs, battery). You don't need to download any programs and transfer for music is quick and easy. The conversion for videos is also easy. I also like that the backlight can be turned off to save battery. every time you push a button it comes on, but lust flip the switch and off it goes. The only complaint i have is that one earphone is much shorter than the other, but a good pair of headphones isn't a whole lot compared to something like this. hope this helps.

best mp3 palyer so far February 1, 2006 Reviewer:  Crazy dude "Kay T" (chicago)  See all my reviews >

It is the finest on the market if youre a music lover. But the down side is dont have video player thats it and its way better the any ipod. and creative cause it got voice recorder and it didnt scratch so much like ipod and the best thing is the battery life blew you away with 40 hours of nonstop music and its hot and it would be better if it was $250 but its kinda expensive but its worth it every single penny

Blows Ipod away December 10, 2005 Reviewer:  X5L owner "Michael P" (New York City)  See all my reviews >

Do you want to get a player that every other person has? Or a player that is actually better? The Cowon iAudio X5 packs the most features and file support into a nice and sleek design. The Sound quality on the X5 is better than most other players out there.

Does the ipod have any of this?
-FM Radio/FM recorder
-Voice Recorder
-Line In Recording
-WMA, Mp3, OGG,WAV, and FLAC format support
-262,000 color screen

The answer to this question is a big fat NO

This player also has a metal matte black finish that won't scratch easily, unlike the scratch-prone ipod.

If you want more battery life check out the X5L which packs 35 hours into it!

This is the player that Audiophiles choose.

This stinks. November 12, 2005 Reviewer:  Elijah See all my reviews >

Dude, do not buy this mp3, I got it a couple of weeks ago, before the iPod video came out, and wasted a lot of money for 20gb, instead of buying this just get a 30gb iPod video...(rambling)
